Thirty-One
I am not a huge purse person. I have gotten used to hanging a diaper bag on my shoulder and going. Even so, these bags caught my eye. The skirt purses are pretty cool. I don’t need a ton of purses, but occasionally wish I had something to go with a certain outfit when I go out without kids (rare). This purse offers me that option without the bulk. I have a simple black purse and add a skirt to vary its look. The skirt is basically a fabric sleeve that clips on to the purse. No need to move my wallet, etc to a new bag, just change the skirt and go.
Before seeing the skirt purse, however, I noticed the large utility tote. I tend to wait to do my grocery shopping until I need to really stock up. I’m talking cans upon cans of crushed tomatoes, pounds of pasta, gallons of milk, etc. These totes are great for that! Now I can fit 3-4 grocery bags worth into one tote. Are they heavy – well, duh. Depending on how much I put in, they can be quite hefty, however one tote vs 4 bags is a lot easier for me to handle. Especially since I usually have at least one child in my arms as I’m trying to bring the groceries in from the car. We also recently used it as a makeshift dresser for the kids. We stayed over at my grandmother’s home and needed a place to put the kids clothes. They each had their stack inside the tote. Nice and neat in a row.
